Nutrition Micro-Credentials Portfolio
In partnership with The Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, University College and the Center for Professional and Workforce Development would like to introduce you to our new portfolio of nutrition-focused micro-credentials. These carefully designed and executed workshops will give working professionals like you the opportunity to earn a series of digital badges in three unique areas of nutrition.
Our Tufts faculty and staff are working closely with our partners at the Academy to develop workshops that align with a variety of skills across the nutrition industry. With a growing demand for nutritionists and dietitians, the design and development of these workshops and digital badges will not only support your future career success and goals, but also contribute to the continued growth and evolution of the broader industry.
Start Making Informed Decisions About Nutrition Science
Tufts University College has built three bundles, each containing three individual workshops to equip learners like you with the essential skills necessary to evaluate the credibility and quality of nutrition information available to consumers today. In each of these workshops, you will explore key components of scientific literature and gain a deeper understanding of the strengths and limitations of various study designs used in nutrition research.
Each of these initial nine workshops will require approximately five hours of work for completion, and all content will be offered asynchronously to support every learner's need for flexibility. Registration for these workshops can happen individually or as a bundle of three, and you will earn an individual, level 1 digital badge for each.
