Course Description

Discover creative strategies for visual communication using typography and imagery in this day-long workshop for beginning and intermediate graphic designers. You’ll explore the expressive and formal qualities of type, principles of visual composition and perception, and ways to create narrative through a series of hands-on exercises that result in a finished typographic poster by day’s end. Some prior experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is encouraged, but not necessary. Level: Beginner to Intermediate
