Course Description

This will be a fast-paced introductory survey to the many exciting techniques of printmaking. We will introduce students to methods including monotype, lithography, relief, and intaglio. This course is intended for students who want to get a broader idea of how printmaking can expand their practice and be applied in many different ways. This course requires no previous experience and will include technical demonstrations, mid-semester and final critiques, and on-going individual consultation.

Notes

Any materials necessary for the first class meeting will be communicated to enrolled students by the instructor in advance. Otherwise, materials and supplies will be covered in the first class meeting.
