Course Description
Design and develop sophisticated web pages in order to poise yourself as a professional web designer. This course focuses on using advanced HTML and CSS to solve complex design problems. JavaScript will be introduced as an additional tool to aid in front end design. Students will create clickable high fidelity design prototypes while advancing their knowledge and usage of design thinking methodology. Some additional topics include a deeper dive into mobile first and responsive design as well as accessible design principles using WCAG testing. This course is recommended for students with an understanding of the syntax and basic concepts of HTML and CSS. Knowledge of Figma or Sketch is strongly preferred.
Level: Intermediate.
