Course Description
Introduction to the theory of vector spaces and linear transformations over the real or complex numbers, including linear independence, dimension, matrix multiplication, similarity and change of basis, inner products, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, and some applications. Prerequisite: MATH 0034 Calculus II (or similar course), or permission of instructor.
Basic Enrollment Requirements:
Academic Year: Unofficial Transcript – High School Diploma or current high school transcript (for high school students only in applicable classes), Bachelor’s Degree, or progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree + 3.0 GPA.
Summer: None.
