Course Description

Formulation of hypotheses and design of tests to accept or reject hypotheses. Examination of the role of uncertainty, statistical significance, and societal relevance by connecting numbers and narratives for various data-driven decision-making applications. Focus is placed on understanding and explaining what can or cannot be inferred from a given set of data. Recommendation: CEE201 and CEE 202 or permission from instructor.

Basic Enrollment Requirements: Unofficial Transcript – Bachelor’s Degree + 3.0 GPA.
