Expository Writing

Course Description

Explores the principles of effective written communication and provides intensive practice in writing various types of expository prose, especially analysis and persuasion. Examines essays by contemporary and earlier authors as instances of the range and versatility of standard written English.

Basic Enrollment Requirements:

Academic Year (Fall/Spring): Unofficial Transcript – High School Diploma or current high school transcript (for high school students only in applicable classes), Bachelor’s Degree, or progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree + 3.0 GPA.

Summer Session: None.
