Course Description

A continuation of the study of pronunciation, basic grammar, conversation, and modern written Japanese, including hiragana and katakana syllabaries and kanji. This course follows Elementary Japanese I-A (JPN0001) and covers the material in the textbook 'Genki I,' Lessons 7-12. It is appropriate for those either having completed JPN0001 or with equivalent experience in a classroom setting with the material in 'Genki I,' Lessons 1-6. If you are considering taking JPN0002 without first completing JPN0001, please contact the instructor before registering.

Basic Enrollment Requirements: None.
