Course Description

Introduction of the fundamental grammatical structures and vocabulary of French. Development of basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, to promote the practical use of language in a variety of situations. Multimedia materials provide the cultural context for linguistic activities.

Basic Enrollment Requirements:

Academic Year (Fall/Spring): Unofficial Transcript – High School Diploma or current high school transcript (for high school students only in applicable classes), Bachelor’s Degree, or progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree + 3.0 GPA.

Summer: None.
