Long considered Doris Lessing’s best collection, African Stories is an homage to her twenty-five years spent in Africa. In this anthology, she explores the complexities,
the agonies and joys, and the textures of life in Rhodesia. First published in 1965, the book contains much of the Nobel Prize winner’s most extraordinary work.
