Course Description

Great Russian writers, known the world-over for their lengthy novels and in-depth portrayals of Russian society, also excelled in the short story. Discover this side of Russian literature from the nineteenth century to the present in the works of Pushkin, Gogol, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Chekhov, Bulgakov, Solzhenitsyn, Tolstaya and other contemporary writers. 

Basic Enrollment Requirements: Unofficial Transcript – High School Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree + 3.0 GPA.

Instructor Approval: Not Required.

Remission Eligible: Yes; first day of term; all university policies apply.
