Course Description
(Cross-listed as BME 156) Biophotonic approaches used to characterize biological specimens including standard microscopy (brightfield, phase contrast, fluorescence), depth-resolved microscopy (confocal fluorescence and reflectance, two-photon excited fluorescence and second harmonic generation), near infrared spectroscopy, and photoacoustic imaging.
Basic Enrollment Requirements:
Academic Year (Fall/Spring): Unofficial Transcript – Bachelor’s Degree or progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree + 3.0 GPA.
Summer: None.
