Course Description

An in-depth examination of the structure and function of biomolecules: chemical and physical properties of proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids; enzyme kinetics and mechanisms; metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, and amino acids and the metabolic relationships of organ systems. Prerequisites: BIO 13 Cells & Organisms and CHEM 51 Organic Chemistry I (with lab) or equivalent

Basic Enrollment Requirements:

Academic Year (Fall/Spring): Unofficial Transcript – Bachelor’s Degree or progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree + 3.0 GPA.

Summer: None
