Course Description

Contemporary theory and research on the development of intellectual processes from infancy through adolescence. Compares cognitive-developmental theories and research to psychometric, information-processing, and other approaches. Topics include assessment procedures, theoretical interpretations, research results, and implications for applied work with children. Outside-of-class "metahobby" project required.
