All campuses (Grafton, Medford/Somerville, and Boston (Health Sciences and School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts)) are closed all day Friday, February 25 due to the winter storm. Please see information below to learn about academic operations for the day. 

Academics - Faculty members may choose to hold classes on-line and notify students about this in time to meet. Should there be a change in modality, students should hear directly from their instructor. Please contact your faculty member directly if you have questions about your course.  

Libraries - Weather-related changes to the hours of operation for the Tisch, SMFA and Lilly Libraries are posted on the Tisch Library homepage. We do not recommend any travel to campus on Friday. 

Campus Center - The Campus Center will be closed all day on Friday, February 25th. 

Dining Services - Please check the Dining App and/or Dining Services' Facebook page and Twitter feed for up-to-date information about which centers will remain open and which services will be available. 

Shuttles - The Medford-SMFA shuttle will not run during the closure on Friday, February 25th. The Hyatt Shuttle is scheduled to run with delays. All weather-related service announcements will be posted on the Transloc Rider app and on the Public Safety website. (The Transloc Rider app available both in iTunes and Google Play stores.) 

Parking Bans - Weather-related parking bans are listed on the Public Safety website

COVID Testing - Testing Center hours may be found on the COVID testing center website.  Testing centers will be closed Friday. 

You may also visit or your school or division website (list below) for information on whether classes, examinations, clinics, events, and other related activities will be held. The University College alerts page will be kept up to date:   


All campuses (Grafton, Medford/Somerville, and Boston (Health Sciences and School of Museum of Fine Arts)) are closed all day Saturday, January 29. The Medford/Somerville and Boston campuses will reopen on Sunday, January 30 at 4pm. The Cummings School administration will provide information directly to its constituents regarding its reopening on Sunday.
